It's time to finally say goodbye to DreamShares. I was here almost from the beginning, I don't think there are any forum posters around now who were here before me. It was great, very very addictive, and there was a fantastic community spirit but, as with life, things move on. Loads of the characters have gone, a few are left, but mostly it is quiet and pretty boring here now.
So this is my last post, I'm about to fill my account with the 'regular' teams, I won't move anywhere in the leaderboards 'cos when they lose, I will lose big time. And when they win, my gains will be small.
I want to thank all those who sponsored me for the London Marathon, if you ever get the inkling, go and do it. I'll say nothing except it will be one of the best days of your life.
Right, that's it, me outta here. Gonna delete DS from my favourites as soon as I am done.

...and good luck to you too Phil! I think it's time for me to jack it in as well. I have never been a big contributor to forums but its been a great 6 years playing a brilliant game, despite the recent problems. So long and thanks for all the fish,

jacked years ago with my 1st account,re started with negende and had fun again,now the game has died on its backside big time.not been on daily for a good while now.updates to unpredictable,sad really.

I'm sure if you had the guts to meet any of us we would all find you charming, intelligent and witty. As such a meeting is unlikely, everyone here will have to stick to the false impression that you are none of those things. |

Still waiting for teams to update from over a week ago; in the meantime who knows what's going to work? I've being playing for over four years but now I'm jumping ship. Thanks to the Guvnor for devising this once great (free) game - it's been fun. Thanks to jalex stewart, maddie and the rest for constructive comments on the forum. Special thanks to negende and the others with similar records to me who have been sitting unknowingly in my minileague and kicking my ass over the past four years. I expect arsesome will make some negative comment as he would start a fight in an empty house; but I fart in his general direction because I will not be returning to view any comments.
